Ricercatore di traduzione e linguistica inglese presso l’Università degli Studi di Udine e Ricercatore Senior presso ADAPT. Ha conseguito il dottorato in relazioni di lavoro presso la Facoltà di Economia dell’Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, svolgendo presso la stessa anche un periodo di tre anni in qualità di assegnista di ricerca. È stato inoltre Visiting Fellow presso la ILR School, Cornell University (USA). È traduttore (ITA-ENG/ENG-ITA) e revisore linguistico per l’E-Journal of International and Comparative Labour Studies, l’ADAPT Labour Studies Book Series e Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali. Il suo ambito di ricerca riguarda il ruolo della lingua nel diritto del lavoro e nelle relazioni industriali, l’analisi del discorso e la multimodalità nel contesto della sostenibilità ambientale. È autore di numerosi articoli scientifici nell’ambito della traduzione e dell’analisi del discorso.

Pietro Manzella is Researcher in Translation and English Linguistics at the University of Udine and Senior Researcher at ADAPT. He holds a PhD in Industrial Relations from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he also completed a three-year period as a postdoctoral research fellow. He was also a Visiting Fellow at the ILR School, Cornell University (USA). He works as a translator (Italian–English / English–Italian) and language editor for the E-Journal of International and Comparative Labour Studies, the ADAPT Labour Studies Book-series, and Diritto delle Relazioni Industriali. His research focuses on the role of language in labour law and industrial relations, critical discourse analysis, and multimodality in the context of environmental sustainability. He has authored numerous scholarly articles in the fields of translation and discourse analysis.
