Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Institute for Labour Studies: YOUnion Co-Applicant

Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Institute for Labour Studies: YOUnion Co-Applicant The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is one of the major public universities in Spain, internationally recognized for its quality and innovation in research. The IET is a research institute created as an initiative promoted by the Centre d'Estudis Sociològics QUIT, which has lead research in sociology of work in Spain for the last twenty five years. The IET is composed by researchers from several academic disciplines, including sociology, law, economy and other related disciplines. This allows the adoption of a multidisciplinary research approach that mirrors the complexity and importance assumed by work for citizens, companies, public and private organizations etc. The general aim of the IET is the promotion, development and dissemination of research around work and work-related issues. The study of work is accordingly approached in a broad way hence including both production and reproduction spheres, their relationship and impact on other aspects.
