Maria Giovannone

MA Law degree (2005). Phd in Industrial Relations and Labour Law (2010). She has six years experience as legal advisor and consultancy. She is a lecturer at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. In her function for ADAPT she is a Senior Research fellow.

She is the person in ADAPT responsible for research issues related to occupational health and safety, work organization and atypical forms of contractual relationships and a member of the Commission of Certification of Labour contracts established within Centro Studi Internazionali e Comparati “Marco Biagi”, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. She is a member of the editorial board of the e-journal of Comparative and International Labour Studies. She has coordinated several funded projects at national and international level. Among the most recent ones has been project manager and co-ordinator of the project ELDERS - Elder employees in companies experiencing restructuring: stress and well-being, co-funded by the European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal opportunities, in 2009-2010.
